DNSSEC Checker
Validate the chain of trust for any domain. Ensure your DNS records cannot be tampered with.
What is DNSSEC?
**DNSSEC (Domain Name System Security Extensions)** is a set of extensions to the DNS protocol that adds cryptographic authentication to DNS responses. It ensures that the data you receive from a DNS server is authentic and hasn't been modified by an attacker (e.g., via DNS spoofing or cache poisoning).
Why is it important?
- ✓**Data Integrity**: Verifies that the IP address you receive is the one the domain owner intended.
- ✓**Origin Authentication**: Confirms the data came from the authoritative DNS server.
How it works
DNSSEC uses digital signatures (RRSIG) to sign DNS records. A chain of trust is established from the root zone (.) down to your specific domain. If any link in this chain is broken or missing, the validation fails.
